The PPB safeguards public health by regulating medicines and medical devices across the lifecycle; registration,importation, distribution, and post‑market surveillance. They license pharmacies and practitioners, set and enforce Practice standards, and oversee pharmacovigilance and quality control. The PPB also leads on combating substandard and falsified products, promoting patient safety, and ensuring ethical, compliant practice nationwide.

During this year’s conference, the PPB will provide updates on licensing, Policy expectations, Kenya’s ML3 achievement progress and other evolving regulatory priorities that impact daily practice. Delegates will get an opportunity to engage on policy, enforcement, and how we can jointly raise the bar for pharmacy practice.
