About KPA Nairobi Branch

The Kenya Pharmaceutical Association Nairobi Branch is the largest and most vibrant branch of this association. The branch prides itself of a membership of over four thousand two hundred (4,200). The branch covers a jurisdiction of both Nairobi and Kajiado counties with some of its members practicing almost across all the forty-seven (47) counties in the Republic of Kenya.

KPA Nairobi Branch advocates at all sectors within the counties level to give pharmaceutical technologists a voice in decisions that affect their practice while promoting their undeniable value to health care teams. We achieve these through various strategic partnerships at the county level/ public sector, private sector, Research, academia, Marketing sectors, Non-Governmental Organizations and other key partners within our space. We endeavor to advance the entire pharmacy profession.

KPA Nairobi Branch also prepares members to thrive at every career stage and in every area of pharmacy practice with regional-class of continuing education, transformative events, unique practice tools, and timely solutions to complex challenges. We’re committed to helping members deliver outstanding patient care, receive due recognition, and work at a full scope of practice. Our offices are headquartered at Unipen Flat Block B Second Floor Room 5 Hurligham in Nairobi.

The Kenya Pharmaceautical assocation (KPA) is an umbrella professional body that brings togethet all pharmaceutical Techologists duly enrolled in Kenya.

The Association currently has over eleven thousand (11,000) members spread across all the forty-seven countries in the countries in the country. Our members serve this country in various capacities in different fields of the profession where they perform varied roles such as;

The Associaton mirros to work in tandem with clear spelt objectives that guides its direction. 

These include:
1. To promote the educational, professional and economic interest of members.
2. To reppresent and express the views of members on matters pertaining to pharmacy practice and healthcare
3. To foster closer working relationships with other health profeesionals, agencies, associations and any others stakeholder on matters concerning pharmaceutical practice.

6) To defend and enforce rights and privileges of its members.
7) To promote, support or oppose legislations, policies or other government measures that affect members.
8) To conduct researhc on matters relating to pharmacy and heakth tchnology.
9) To work in conjunction with ministry of health and other enforing agencies to ensure production, importation, distribution and consumption of quality pharmaceautical products.
