They then, carefully review and assess these complaints to determine the appropriate course of action.

c). Conducting Investigations: The Sub Committee conducts thorough investigations into reported incidents of misconduct or ethical violations. They gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and evaluate the facts of the case to determine the validity of the complaint and the severity of the alleged misconduct.

b). Ensuring Due Process: The Sub Committee ensures that all parties involved in the complaint process are accorded due process rights. This includes providing a fair and impartial investigation, allowing the accused to present their side of the story, and following established procedures for handling disciplinary cases.

c). Making Recommendations: Based on the findings of the investigation, the Sub Committee makes recommendations for appropriate disciplinary actions, if warranted. These recommendations may include sanctions, warnings, educational interventions, or referrals to regulatory body for further action.

d). Imposing Disciplinary Actions: The Sub Committee is responsible for imposing disciplinary actions on KPA Nairobi Branch members found to have violated professional ethics or engaged in misconduct. These actions may include suspension of membership, fines, censure, probation, or other appropriate penalties as outlined in the KPA’s disciplinary procedures in collaboration with the Regulator.
