Ms. Susan Vundi Adika is a dedicated scholar and practitioner specializing in health systems strengthening, with extensive experience in Research, Teaching, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Currently a PhD finalist, she brings a strong academic foundation combined with practical expertise in advancing healthcare delivery, policy, and system resilience. Her work bridges Research and Practice, equipping future health professionals while contributing to evidence-based strategies that improve health outcomes.
𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗟𝗬, the KPA – Nairobi Branch, in collaboration with Kenya Medical Training College – Nairobi Campus, conducted a mentorship program for Final Year Pharmacy students as they prepared for their final examinations and their transition into professional practice.
Among the distinguished speakers was Ms. Susan Vundi, MKPA, who delivered an insightful and inspiring presentation on 𝑵𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝑷𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒚 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔. During her session, she encouraged the students to pursue continuous professional development, embrace lifelong learning, and remain committed to advancing their academic and professional qualifications. Drawing from her own journey and experiences, Ms. Vundi, who is currently in the final stages of completing her PhD, challenged the students to dream bigger, remain resilient, and purposefully pursue excellence in their careers. Her powerful presentation left a lasting impression on the students as they prepare to enter the job market. In a remarkable gesture of support and encouragement, Ms. Vundi donated two copies of her recently authored book, “𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡,” to students during the mentorship session. She also offered to support onboarding of two others with their first subscription to KPA membership. Beyond the event, she also volunteered to personally mentor two interested students through continuous follow-up, guidance, encouragement, and career coaching as the two navigate the diverse opportunities available within the pharma industry.
