We wish to bring to your attention an important ongoing research study in community pharmacies of significance.
The Urban Research and Development Centre for Africa (URADCA), in collaboration with the Kenya Pharmaceutical Association (KPA) and other partners, has commenced a study titled “A Collaborative Study to Explore the Feasibility, Acceptability, and Practicability of Providing Contraceptive Implants in Pharmacies in Kenya.” The study seeks to:
𝘢). 𝘋𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴.

As part of this study, research officers will be visiting selected community pharmacies across the following counties: Mombasa, Kisumu, Kakamega, Kisii, Nairobi, Kajiado, Uasin-Gishu, Nakuru, Kiambu and Garissa. In light of the above, we kindly request the cooperation and support of all the Kenyan Pharmaceutical technologists practicing in Community Pharmacies:
1. 𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮.
