As part of its strategic commitment to nurturing the next generation of pharma professionals, the Kenya Pharmaceutical Association – KPA regularly conducts student mentorship programs in institutions offering Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology across the country. These programs aim to bridge the gap between academic training and professional practice by equipping students with relevant industry knowledge, career guidance, and leadership skills while adhering to established regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
𝐘𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐃𝐀𝐘, 𝟏𝟖.𝟎𝟔.𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔; the KPA – Nairobi Branch had the privilege of conducting a mentorship session for 𝐹𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑌𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑃𝒉𝑎𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑐𝑦 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑡 𝑡𝒉𝑒 𝐾𝑒𝑛𝑦𝑎 𝑀𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙 𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑒 – 𝑁𝑎𝑖𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑖 𝐶𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑢𝑠 Kenya Medical Training College The mentorship program targeted students who are preparing to transition from the classroom into the professional job market. With their final examinations scheduled to commence next week, the students were taken through various aspects of building a successful career in pharmacy, professional growth, ethical practice, and an overview of the role of KPA in promoting pharmaceutical excellence and advancing the profession.
